We’re almost there!
Hey y’all!
Hope everyone is doing well! i apologize greatly for not updating in so long. I feel very bad about it but it has been a busy couple of weeks. It’s quite frustrating because I have so many things to blog about but not enough time :(
Well here’s a quick update!
16 days until Opening Day!
3 months until my high school graduation ceremony!
That’s pretty intense stuff ain’t it?
It’s been a rough couple of weeks because I’m getting my college acceptance letters (yay!) and rejection letters (boo!). It’s not only frustrating when you get rejected it’s frustrating when you want to go to a school, you get accepted but you can’t go because you can’t afford it. I live in California. That should tell you everything. Our money’s dried up. We have nothing basically. Our education system is going down the drain, teachers are unhappy and students can’t afford to go to college and everyone is angry.
Rightfully so because
Arnold Schwarzenegger is our governor. (CA primaries are coming up however)
Please excuse my ranting……. anyways that is why I haven’t been blogging lately. I’ve been in a bad mood and not to mention my math grade is on life support. In fact I must pass the class or I may be in danger of not graduating
. So I’ve been devoting my life to studying math and reviewing math problems over and over and over again.
Back to baseball!
How are my lovely Angels doing this Spring Training?
……
Horrible. The Angels have won 3 games, tied twice and lost 9 times thus far and it’s a bit disheartening. We’re dead last in Cactus League and American League and 2nd to last in all of baseball! I know Spring Training games are no indicator of anything but still. It’s worrisome! I haven’t been able to catch any spring training games on the tele because of my busy schedule but I had time today to catch the Dodgers v Cubs game today. It reminded me how much I missed baseball. It felt good :-)
One good sign so far for the Halos is Mike Napoli, who serves as the offensive yang to Jeff Mathis’ defensive yin. Injuries have been holding him back but he’s ripping it up in ST which is always good to hear. I have concerns on who is going to DH for this team. I heard that Matsui wants to field but that only creates more problems. Mike Napoli would make a great DH as well so I don’t even know what’s gonna happen there.
There have been quite a few standouts such as Bobby Abreu, Jered Weaver, Hideki Matsui, Kaz etc. I am missing Figgy but the lineup looks pretty solid
I have concerns with the ‘pen and even part of the starting rotation but we’ll wait and see with those. This team is full of surprises I tell you!
Thanks for hanging there with me everyone! I’m excited for this season to start especially because of the tight competition out west! And hey maybe it’s better that I’m busy.. it keeps my mind off the wait.
Remember we’re almost there!
